One Last Breath

Losing someone has never been easy.

...suffocating
...heartbreaking

...especially when you witnessed his/her

last grasping breath.

so peaceful
BUT
penetrating.

I have a friend whose mother died few days ago.

I witnessed how she tried to do her duty not just a nurse but a
daughter as well.

Filling her mother's breath.

But then...

...after all.

She failed.
